As Technical Consultant at STAEDEAN, you will own technical resolution of customer support cases end-to-end: diagnose issues, deliver fixes/workarounds, communicate clearly with customers, and coordinate with Product/Engineering when escalation is required
Your Responsibilities
Resolve customer cases (end-to-end): troubleshoot, reproduce, identify root cause, implement workaround/fix, and close with confirmation.
Customer communication: provide clear updates (written + calls) based on agreed cadence; set expectations; document decisions.
Technical triage & replication: reproduce issues in standard environments; collect logs/telemetry; isolate configuration vs product defect.
Escalation management: escalate to Engineering/Product with complete technical package (steps to reproduce, impact, logs, environment, suspected cause); drive to resolution.
Installation & environment issues: diagnose deployment/config problems (LCS/Azure/SQL/AD/networking where relevant); reduce repeat install incidents via runbooks.
Knowledge creation: create/update KB articles and runbooks for recurring issues; contribute to “known errors” and troubleshooting checklists.
Quality & prevention: participate in postmortems for major incidents; propose prevention actions (automation, monitoring, documentation, product fixes).
Testing support (as needed): validate fixes/hotfixes/patches in test environments; confirm customer-ready resolution steps.
Staying updated on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AI advancements, recommending adoption of new features and capabilities.
Assist your own (more functional oriented) support team on technical analysis of incoming support cases.
Guide customers through the technical onboarding during new project implementations
Eligibility / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Dynamics AX / D365 F&SCM technical troubleshooting (not just functional).
4+ years of hands-on experience in Dynamics AX / D365 F&SCM technical troubleshooting (not just functional).
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&SCM support
Ability to debug/trace (X++/logs/telemetry) and isolate root cause.
Comfortable with environment triage: LCS, deployments, SQL basics, networking basics, permissions/roles.
Foundational functional understanding of standard Dynamics AX system functions such as Trade & Logistics (T&L), Project Accounting, postings, roles and permissions, workflows, and batch jobs.
Integrations experience (APIs, middleware, data entities)
Azure deployment exposure, monitoring, automation
Support engineering mindset (RCA, runbooks, “make it not happen again”)
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally as in writing.
Strong team player and high customer & commercial orientation with a pro-active attitude.
Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working with international and cross-cultural teams.
