We are looking for a Software Engineer who can contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of STAEDEAN applications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role involves developing customizations, supporting upgrades, and migrating legacy systems to the D365 Business Central environment.

What are your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customizations, and enhancements in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL programming language.
• Develop, configure, test and support STAEDEAN Business Central apps to meet business and technical requirements.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and accuracy of developed solutions.
• Support in upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning of the Business Central apps.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and senior developers to gather and refine requirements for Business Central projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Business Central to ensure reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for workflows, customizations, and other solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Business Central and contribute in the development of new applications.
• Test and validate developed solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and business objectives. On-time and quality delivery of Business Central solutions and customizations.
• Adherence to coding standards and best practices, ensuring maintainable, high-quality code.
• Active contribution to team knowledge-sharing initiatives and skill enhancement.
• Comprehensive and clear technical documentation for all developed solutions.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in  Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proficiency in AL programming language for developing customizations in Business Central.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit tests to validate Business Central customizations.
• Experience in upgrading and migrating systems to Business Central Cloud from older versions or other ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and integrating external systems with Business Central.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted Business Central environments and exposure to Azure platforms is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug effectively.
• Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for Business Central solutions, is a plus.
• Understanding of financial, supply chain, and manufacturing modules in Business Central.
